J. M. López Osorio is a researcher in earthen construction and vernacular architecture whose work on the rammed-earth technology of the Mgoun Valley pairs technical surveying with linguistic recording of Tamazight building vocabulary. The contribution sits within the broader Iberian-American research network on vernacular and earthen heritage and is one of the more methodologically careful studies of southern Moroccan rammed-earth practice in English.
